Cherishing Memorable Moments from Amal Fellowship!

It's been three months since I am a part of this fellowship. I do remember how enthusiastic and energetic I was right in the beginning and then things got tough because of the heavy workload from both sides i.e. University & Amal Projects. But, this is my dedication and Can-do attitude that pushes me to do better every single day. I am writing this blog at 6 A.M in morning because I have so much to share and write about my reflections from this fellowship.

A positive change is always good!

Dear Project Managers, please don’t put me in such a tough situation where I find myself completely confused to write about just one instance that had an overwhelming impact on me. The reason I am saying this is because I had so many memorable moments to pen down and express my views over it. But, I am going to try as per the requirement of this blog.

Write in the beginning when people shared their life maps that activity will be having an everlasting impact on me. People have to go through so much in their lives which they never tell or share with anyone. The reason behind this could be their low self-esteem, trust issues, and the fear of being judged. one of the best things I have experience from Amal Platform is that nobody judges you. Nobody says you are a coward, nobody says you are a cry baby, nobody passes judgemental comments. Selfless love, support, and kind-heartedness are a few things that I have experienced from this journey.

I can’t stop myself to share another amazing thing that happened to me during this journey was writing my own strength stories. This activity drove me towards a point where I had to think about narrating and then speaking up about those activities if asked anytime in the future at my interview. SOS framework was another addition to this learning. I got a chance to polish my strengths and came up with the best 3 after lots of brainstorming and memorizing past experiences.

Happy me — self-actualization

Both of these instances will always have a special place in my life, these activities taught me about self-realization, being grateful, staying committed and more dedicated to achieving my goals, be strong, always try to learn things because life never stops teaching you at any moment.

Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations!

There were many people in my batch whose life map and strength stories gave me positive vibes. Now, whenever I face any kind of problem I have some things that I usually say to myself for my inner peace, those are

  • People suffer much more than this
  • This too shall pass
  • Your life has a meaning; you gotta fulfill it
  • If a plan doesn’t work, change the plan but not the goal
Em a free bird!

If I look back, I must say I was not this much-learned person, I was not open to feedback or constructive criticism to this extent. I was not sure about opening up about my failures but the wholesome feeling of a family after joining Amal made me forget about what happened in past and taught me to focus on the future. it taught me to focus on what matters and you’ll be unstoppable. It taught me to become a better version of myself by every passing day because each baby step counts. Never compete with anyone, we are our own competetions and our own reflections.
